We caught up with a few prominent CODM professional gamers—Gabriel, Tony, and Oyagbode—to get their reactions to this ultimate league announcement. 

These gamers have been honing their skills in CODM for around three to five years collectively and have racked up some impressive stats along the way.

Tony, in particular, has a notable history with Carry1st events. He recalls one of his most memorable gaming experiences being the Carry1st CODM event in Lagos, where he secured the 21st place. Reflecting on the announcement of the Africa CODM Cup, Tony couldn't contain his enthusiasm, eagerly stating, "I’ll be there, I’ll be there!"

Gabriel, another seasoned player, expressed his anticipation, remarking, "I’m very excited, this is like a master's level opportunity." For Gabriel, the Carry1st Africa CODM Cup represents a chance to showcase his skills on a grand stage and compete aga;inst some of the best players from across the continent.

Oyagbode, who has also made a name for himself in the CODM community, shared his surprise and excitement, saying, "I really love this. This is very surprising."

The announcement by Carry1st CEO Cordel directly to the gamers added a personal touch to the launch, further fueling the excitement.
