CODM Eagle Ascent: Nigeria Independence Day Event Rewards and Naija Tokens

Call of Duty Mobile (CODM) is celebrating Nigeria's Independence Day with Eagle Ascent, the CODM Nigeria Independence Day event running from 25 September to 4 October 2026. Take part, collect Naija Tokens, and unlock rewards built around home, from the Danfo charm to the AK117: Skyline Celebration.

Eagle Ascent is CODM's second in-game event made for Africa, following Roots of Africa for Africa Day. Nigeria marks 66 years of independence on 1 October, and this year the celebration comes inside the game. In the event's own words: show them say Naija no dey carry last!

What Is Eagle Ascent, CODM's Nigeria Independence Day Event?

Eagle Ascent is a limited-time in-game event on Call of Duty: Mobile. While it runs, you complete simple tasks to collect Naija Tokens, and every token total you hit unlocks a Nigeria-themed reward, all the way up to the AK117: Skyline Celebration at 300 tokens.

How to Earn Naija Tokens

This is the Naija Token you will be collecting. Tokens come from three tasks, and you can repeat the first two throughout the event:

• Kill 5 Operators (other players): 5 Naija Tokens
• Play CODM for 10 minutes: 10 Naija Tokens
• Share the event for the first time: 10 Naija Tokens

There's a daily limit of 100 Naija Tokens, so the earliest you can reach 300 tokens and the AK117 is your third day of playing. With ten days in the event, starting early leaves you room to spare. Once you've collected every reward, you stop earning tokens.

Every Eagle Ascent Reward, Token by Token

Here's the full reward ladder and how many Naija Tokens each step takes:

• 10 tokens: 2,000 Battle Pass XP
• 20 tokens: Calling Card: National Pride
• 40 tokens: 3x Weapon XP Card
• 60 tokens: Ranked Shield Card
• 80 tokens: Epic Cache
• 120 tokens: Charm: Danfo, a mini version of the famous yellow Lagos bus
• 160 tokens: 5x Weapon XP Card
• 200 tokens: 8,000 Battle Pass XP
• 250 tokens: Mythic Secret Cache
• 300 tokens: AK117: Skyline Celebration, the event's headline weapon blueprint

The AK117: Skyline Celebration and the Danfo charm are the two to chase. They're made for this event, and they put Nigeria on your loadout every time you drop in.

AK117: Skyline Celebration

The top reward, at 300 Naija Tokens. It is an AK117 blueprint finished in blue, green and gold, with a skyline and arch design running along the body. It is the one to grind for.

Charm: Danfo

Unlock it at 120 Naija Tokens. A mini yellow danfo, the classic Lagos bus, hangs off your weapon on a chain, so a piece of home rides with you into every match.

When Does Eagle Ascent Start and End?

Eagle Ascent runs from 25 September to 4 October 2026, with Nigeria's Independence Day on 1 October right in the middle. Activision hasn't published a start time, so check in on the 25th and start collecting Naija Tokens early. Ten days goes quickly.
