Call of Duty: Mobile is gearing up for an exciting adventure in its upcoming Season 4, known as Fool's Gold. This season promises a range of new challenges and features, and we've got the inside scoop on how to make the most of it. We caught up with Oluwadamilola Koya, who spoke with Aladelo Oluwaseun, better known as Senez, a biomedical scientist and co-owner of the competitive esports team Rage Gaming, to get his expert insights on the new season and how players can up their game.
Fool's Gold is all about seeking riches and taking risks. What are you and Rage Gaming most excited about in this new season? Do you want to try any specific weapons, maps, or modes?
Senez: "The competitive scene constantly evolves, and Season 4 introduces intriguing changes. We're particularly excited about how the revamped tournament maps, like Standoff, Arsenal, and Raid, will influence strategies. It's a learning curve for everyone, keeping things fresh."
The MG42 LMG and RC-XD Scorestreak are coming to Season 4. How do you think these additions will change the gameplay dynamics?
Senez: "The new mythic LMG could be interesting in competitive gameplay, requiring a skilled user to dominate. If used correctly, it might shake up the meta significantly."
What about the new Dropkick mode? It sounds intense! How do you see this mode impacting the competitive scene in Call of Duty Mobile?
Senez: "This mode won't be part of the competitive scene, so it's more for casual players. It seems like a fun, chaotic way to blow off steam."
What do you think about the new Operator Skins and Weapon Blueprints in the Fool’s Gold Battle Pass?
Senez: "They look great! I'm excited to see the new CX9 skin and the MG42 LMG from the battle pass. Our team loves collecting these and showing them off during streams."
The World Champs 2024 announcement is huge! How's Rage Gaming prepping?
Senez: "Unfortunately, Africa wasn't included in Activision's plans for World Champs 2024, so we're hoping for better opportunities for the African region this year. It's disappointing, but we won't let it dampen our spirits."
Let’s discuss the new themed event, Tropical Escapade. Do you have any tips for optimising relic hunting in this new event?
Senez: "I haven't explored it yet, but I plan to see if it's fun. I'm always up for new challenges and rewards."
The Challenge HQ system is getting an update. How will the updated challenge system enhance the player experience in Season 4?
Senez: "It sounds like more goodies for everyone to enjoy, from skins to items for my collection. It keeps the game fresh and engaging."
What do you think about the new health bar display feature?
Senez: "It's a cool addition, but not something that gives an advantage in competitive gameplay. It's more of a helpful feature for casual matches."
What are your thoughts on the Call of Duty Endowment (CODE) Regulator Pack and its mission to support veterans?
Senez: "It's a thoughtful initiative, showing how Call of Duty: Mobile connects with the community beyond the game. Supporting veterans is always a noble cause."
Store Update - Mythic Draw Featuring Hans Zimmer. How do you feel about the introduction of Hans Zimmer's music in the new Mythic Draw?
Senez: "It's another masterpiece as always—it's Hans Zimmer! Adding such high-quality music to the game can only enhance the overall experience."
