Divisions and Ranks

There’s a new Divisions system, and it brings a proper structure and rewards to how individual leagues run. Leagues can now earn Season Points through Quests (tasks like scoring goals, acquiring store packs, etc), Tournaments, and playing Division Rivals. These points are then used to determine your rank/ placement in the Grouped Leaderboards, which involve up to 20 teams battling it out for promotion and relegation every season, just like in real-world football. • The bottom three leagues face relegation to a lower rung
• Everyone else gets to regroup and try again when a new season comes around

There’s more. Your division determines your bragging rights and the quality of weekly rewards (as mentioned earlier). Here’s the catch: the higher your league ranks, the sweeter and better the loot.

Team Up for Quests and Tournaments

A significant change in this update is that leagues are no longer a solo effort. The collaborative league quests push everyone to contribute to where your league will rank on the Global Leagues. The more your league achieves, the more season points and league tokens you’ll rack up.

Then there are league tournaments. These intense VSA-style matches pit your league against other leagues in 24-hour showdowns. Each league member gets three games to score as many goals as possible. Win or lose, you’ll still earn valuable points, but victories earn your league a massive boost. It’s clear to see why:

• A win earns you 4,000 Season Points
• A draw will get you 3,000 Season Points
• A loss, on the other hand, only gives you 2,000 Season Points

Up to 32 members can join the tourneys, but it’s ultimately up to the individual league admins to select participants. So, if you want to participate in any tourney action, you should communicate with admins in the League chat and check the participation box for set rules.

Individual Impact and Activity Points

Now, every league member and what they do counts. Your Activity Points reflect your personal contribution to Quests and Division Rivals matches. Higher activity points help your league progress faster and earn you bonus rewards at the end of the season. Here’s how to earn them:

• Play up to 15 matches per week in each mode (H2H, VSA, and Manager mode)
• Complete daily tasks like matches, opening packs, or organizing tournaments.

Any points you earn depend on your division and performance, so whatever you do, ensure you give your all for the wins and stay active to climb the internal league rankings.

Rewards: Why This Update is Worth Your Time

Speaking of rewards, this update sees a massive overhaul to the rewards system. As mentioned, you can earn rewards for individual and team accomplishments. These rewards are divided into the following categories:

• End-of-Season Rewards: At the end of the season, your team will receive rewards based on which division you’re in and where you finish on the leaderboard.
• League Pass Rewards: Progressing through the league pass by earning Season Points unlocks exclusive items.
• League Tokens: can be traded in the store for valuable resources.

How to Join or Build a League

All this talk about league activity is pointless if you’re not already in one. So here’s how you can join or create a league:

1. Important notice: You can only join and create a league when you unlock the league feature at Level 3
2. To create a league, tap the Leagues tab and select ‘Create A League.’ Then, fill in the necessary details (league name, home team, and relevant tags). Finally, choose the joining mode: open, application, or invite-only to help you manage membership.
3. To join a league, use the league button on your home screen. The league menu that pops up will show you a selection of leagues that are open to new members. Pick a league that you like and tap on JOIN. You can also use the search filters (tags for club, region, etc.) to find a league that’s a more perfect fit.
