Hey, MLBB fans! MLBB’s latest Patch, 1.9.60, just dropped on the Advanced Server, and while it’s not the most major of updates, neither is it a season; we’ve got some exciting changes to our favourite heroes and the battlefield. We’ll break down everything you need to know so you don’t get blindsided next time you queue up.

Hero Adjustments: Winners & Losers

Gloo (Buff)

Gloo got some long-overdue fixes to its Skill 1-Skill 2 combo, letting it stay in its split state longer for better passive stacking. This means better sustain, more pressure, and an even more frustrating experience for enemies.

We can expect Gloo to stick onto enemies like glue (literally, it’s in the name) and become even harder to deal with.

Gord (Control Overhaul, But No Buffs)

It’s clear that Moonton is tweaking Gord’s Ultimate mechanics so players can choose between joystick control and a drag-to-aim system. What’s the goal of this, you ask? With the new and improved Gord, you get better aiming, more control, and certainly less frustration when you main this hero.

This won’t make Gord more powerful, but it removes frustration for players who struggled with his Ultimate before. If you’re a Gord main, it’s worth testing out the new settings to see what works best for you.

Kimmy (Nerfed, No More Free Early Game Dominance)

Unfortunately, Kimmy’s getting hit hard. Her basic attack damage was cut in half early game, she now has a smaller attack radius, and her knockback has been replaced with an immobilise. She’ll still be strong in late-game, but her early-game aggression won’t be as dominant as it used to be. Here’s what it looks like in numbers:

  1. Basic Attack Base Damage: 20 → 10
  2.  Basic Attack Radius: 1 → 0.8

All of this slows down Kimmy’s early-game snowball. Of course, she’s still a viable hero, but if you’re maining her, expect a harder start than you’re used to.

Fanny (Slight Nerf, Still OP in the Right Hands)

It’s been said that Moonton underestimated Fanny’s high-skill ceiling, and after her recent buffs, she’s been a nightmare in skilled hands. It looks like a correction is being made, as they’re now toning her down slightly by reducing damage and increasing energy costs on Skill 2.

  • Skill 1 Base Damage: 300-540 → 275-525
  •  Skill 2 Energy Cost: 16-11 → 17-12

This won’t stop top-tier Fanny players but will force better resource management. Less experienced Fanny mains might struggle more with energy control, especially in longer fights.

Battlefield & System Adjustments

Lord Scaling Adjusted (Again)

Moonton adjusted the Lord’s stats again, this time lowering its HP growth (by 5%) while slightly increasing its damage reduction when allies are nearby. This means securing Lord is a bit easier, but you’ll need more team coordination to bring it down quickly.

Grouping up around Lord is now even more important. If your team ignores it, the enemy will have an easier time securing and using it against you.

Gold Farming Nerf for Marksmen

Marksmen have been scaling too fast, so Moonton reduced the gold reward from Scavenger Crabs by 20%. This makes early-game farming less rewarding, delaying the power spikes of ADCs.

Takeaway: This slows down marksman power spikes, making early-game weaker for them. Jungle-focused strategies might be more effective now but don’t rely too much on early aggression unless you have strong support.

Free Hero Rotation

Every week, MLBB offers a new set of free heroes for players to try out. Whether you’re looking to test a new main or expand your hero pool, here’s what’s available with this patch.

Standard Free Heroes (Available to All Players)

  • Hylos
  • Edith
  • Gloo
  • Lolita
  • Cyclops
  • Alucard
  • Clint
  • Freya

Extra Heroes for Starlight Members

Starlight members get an additional six heroes in the free rotation this week. If you’re subscribed, you can try out:

  • Paquito
  • Benedetta
  • Franco
  • Kimmy
  • Ruby
  • Brody

So, what does all of this mean for the game?

  • Tanks & sustain heroes are even better now, thanks to Gloo’s buff and Lord adjustments.
  • Marksmen need to play safer. A slower farm means less early power.
  • Fanny is still viable, but mistakes hurt more now due to the energy nerf.
  • Gord gets a smoother experience, but his viability depends on how well players adapt to the new control scheme.
  • Kimmy players need a new strategy—aggressive early-game snowballing is no longer an option.
