The Carry1st Africa Cup 2024 Grand Finals, held in Nairobi, Kenya, brought together the continent’s best esports teams to battle for victory in an event that showcased the rapidly growing competitive mobile gaming scene. With a $15,000 prize pool, participation from five countries, and millions of views, the tournament cemented itself as a landmark moment for African esports.

The documentary takes viewers on a high-impact journey, following the champions, South Africa’s Noxious NxGen (NXG), as they claim victory. The film also showcases the fierce competition from Delta Esports (Kenya), Aura 233 (Ghana), Sierra 7 (Nigeria), Sun Esports (Morocco), and CZY Esports (Kenya) as they fought for supremacy.

With each team bringing their own unique playstyle and strategies to the battlefield, the documentary captures the intensity, passion, and skill that defined the event. The two-day Grand Finals, which featured six teams, followed a seven-month qualifying process, seeing over 100 teams battle it out.
