Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

1.1. The Carry1st Discount Points (Points) Loyalty Programme ("Programme") is operated by Carry1st ("Company", "we", "us", "our"). 

1.2. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the Programme and the relationship between Carry1st and participants of the Programme ("Customers",”Participants”, "you", "your"). 

1.3. By participating in the Programme, you agree to these Terms.

1.4 These Terms are supplementary to the general Carry1st Terms and Conditions. In case of any conflict between these Terms and the general Carry1st Terms and Conditions, the latter will prevail. Please review the general Carry1st Terms and Conditions here.

2. Eligibility

‍2.1. The Programme is open to all individuals who have a registered account with Carry1st.

2.2. Participating in the Programme is free of charge.

3. Earning Carry1st Discount Points (Points)

‍

3.1. Customers of Carry1st can earn Points by making eligible purchases using Carry1st supported payments methods (including Carry1st Gems) through the Carry1st Shop. 

3.2. Points will be awarded based on the value of the purchase in the currency of the country in which the purchase is made. 

3.3. Specific earning rates and eligible purchase criteria will be communicated on the Carry1st Shop or mobile app at the time of purchase. 

3.4. Points earned will be credited to the Participant's Carry1st account within a specified period after the transaction is completed. 

3.5 Points can be used to make further eligible purchases. 

3.6 Points can only accumulate per currency. Points purchases cannot be made cross currency. Customers earn Points in the purchasing currency to their Points balance tied to that country/currency. 

3.7 Customers who choose not to register or to sign in to their account when making Points eligible purchases will not earn Points on such purchases.

3.8 Points can only be earned on successfully completed eligible transactions.

4. Points Balance and Usage

4.1. Customers can view their Points balances by country/currency by logging into their Carry1st account whereupon they can see their current Points balance, Points transaction history (including earned and spent Points), the source of Points earnings, and the order details link for both earnings and expenditure. 

4.2. Points can be redeemed for discounts on future purchases made through Carry1st, subject to availability and specific redemption conditions. 

4.3. Points have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to another Customer’s account.

4.4 Carry1st Customers earn Points on eligible purchases in the purchasing currency when making purchases using fiat currency, at a conversion rate determined by Carry1st and which is subject to change by Carry1st without notice to Customers.

4.5 In order to earn Points, the purchase amount in fiat currency should be equal to at least one Points. Where a purchase amount in fiat currency is not enough to earn at least 1 Points, no Points will be earned on such transactions. 

4.6 Customers shall have the option to make further eligible purchases with their existing Points balance in the relevant currency of purchase.  

4.7 If a Customer does not have sufficient Points to complete an eligible purchase, the Customer can complete the purchase using fiat currency by selecting a Carry1st supported payment method. Subject to 4.4 above, Customers will earn Points on the fiat currency amount on such purchases to the extent that they are eligible purchases. 

4.8. Customers can make wholly Points purchases on eligible purchases provided they have a sufficient Points balance. Customers will not earn further Pointss on purchases made wholly with Points. 

4.9 For transactions which are part-Points and part-fiat payment method purchase, if Points are selected the Points will be used in whole first. Customers must either use their Points in whole or none at all for the specific transaction. 

4.10 Customers should be aware that the Carry1st displays potential Points earnings on various products in the Carry1st Shop, the final amount of Points to be earned will be displayed at completion of the transaction. 

4.11 Customers cannot earn more than the equivalent USD 50 worth (converted from the local currency/ies) of Points in a single calendar month or more than the equivalent of USD 5 worth per transaction. As per Section 7, Carry1st has the right to change this at any time without prior notice.

4.12 Where an eligible transaction was completed successfully and accordingly earned Points, if the Customer seeks a refund, there will also be a reversal in any Points earned on that transaction.

5. Expiry and Forfeiture of Points

5.1. Points will expire 14 days from the date they are earned unless otherwise stated. As per Section 7, Carry1st has the right to change this at any time without prior notice.

5.2. In the event of account inactivity for 60 days, all accumulated Points will be forfeited. 

5.3. Carry1st reserves the right to cancel any Points credited to a Customer’s account in case of fraudulent activity or breach of these Terms.

6. Account Management

6.1. Customers are responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date information in their Carry1st account. 

6.2. Carry1st will not be liable for any loss of Points due to inaccurate or outdated account information.

7. Changes to the Programme 

‍

7.1. Carry1st reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Programme, or any part of it, at any time without prior notice. 

7.2. In the event of Programme termination, Members will be notified, and any remaining Points must be redeemed within a specified period.

8. Data Protection 

‍

8.1. By participating in the Programme, Customers consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of their personal information in accordance with Carry1st's Privacy Policy.

8.2. Customer’s personal information will be used to administer the Programme and communicate with Customers about their participation.

9. Limitation of Liability

‍

9.1. Carry1st will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of or inability to use the Programme. 

9.2. Carry1st's total liability under these Terms will not exceed the value of the Points earned by the Customer.

10. Governing Law 

‍

10.1. These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the country in which Carry1st is registered. 

10.2. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that country.
